Quality Circle Forum of India conferred Elcoteq Bangalore an Excellent Award
Elcoteq Bangalore received an excellent award at the Mysore Convention for Quality Circles (MCQC) on 25th April at The National Institute of Engineering, Mysore for its innovative approach and the finest examples of quality management.
The presentation made by two teams of Elcoteq Bangalore regarding to the ‘Case study’ and ‘Kaizen implementations’ of quality management has been highly appreciated by the judges. The Lean tools as used in Kaizen implementation by Elcoteq Bangalore are recognized as a very good example to enhance competency. Elcoteq team will enter the advanced level competition of the forum in July.
This was the first time for Elcoteq Bangalore to participate the competition. “Our representatives have expressed our team work and dedication to drive the continuous improvement activities in the plant”, said Mr. Devang Khamar, Quality, Environment & Six Sigma Manager, Elcoteq Bangalore.
Mr. Sukhvinder Kumar, General Manager, Elcoteq Bangalore complimented all participating colleagues and said: “This event is an excellent platform which enables our colleagues to demonstrate their competence and at the same time to learn the good practices of other players from various industries. I wish all the best to the teams for the next level competition.”
QCFI is recognized as the institution representing The Quality Circle movement in India and has represented the country in several international forums.
