Elcoteq Bangalore Received the Karnataka IT Export Awards for the year 2007-2008

no3.JPGElcoteq Bangalore received the recognized “Certificate of excellence among Electronic Hardware Export in Karnataka” award for the year 2007 – 2008. The award was given during the BangaloreIT.Biz 2008 event on November 7, 2008.

The award has been conferred jointly by the Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), the government of India and the government of Karnataka to the best performing software or hardware technology company units located in the state of Karnataka. The award was presented by Mr. Omakar Rai, Senior Director of STPI.

The General Manager of Elcoteq Bangalore, Mr. Sukhvinder Kumar, congratulated the Elcoteq Bangalore employees for their dedication and hard work in achieving yet another milestone in the journey of Elcoteq Bangalore. Many dignitaries were present at the ceremony including the Information Technology Minister of Karnataka, Mr. Katta Subramanya Naidu.

The STPI is a society set up by the department of communication and information technology, government of India, in 1991. Its main objective is to encourage, promote and boost the software export from India.

The STPI maintains internal engineering resources to provide consulting, training and implementation services. Services cover network design, system integration, installation, operations and maintenance of application networks and facilities in varied areas ranging from VSATs to ATMs.
