Electronics Fairs Showcased in China

China’s role as a global sourcing hub for electronic products remains strong this year. Major vibrant electronics trade shows and sourcing fairs have been scheduled in the region to provide industry professionals with information about the current state of the industry and its supply chain.

nepcon.JPGThe show this week is NEPCON Shanghai, held from 21st to 24th April in Shanghai. NEPCON Shanghai unveils the NEPCON China series of trade shows which are held every year and which feature a comprehensive range of SMT products and technologies to foster innovation and competitiveness in the electronics manufacturing industry. The show will feature a series of themed activities which focus on 3G Mobile. It is designed to enable visitors to share their views on the developing trends in 3G. As in previous years, the show attracts major international companies from the electronics manufacturing industry.

Other major events were kicked off this spring. The first one was the China Sourcing Fair for electronics and components, which ran from 12th to 15th April in Hong Kong. On display were over 2500 booths of hot new electronics from China and the rest of the world. Specialized product pavilions were designed for computers and networking, consumer electronics, electronic components, digital entertainment, GPS systems, in-car electronics, interconnection technology, mobile phones, optoelectronics, telecom and wireless, security, and Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) and WiFi products. 

untitled.JPGThe Hong Kong Electronics Fair, the biggest electronics event in Asia and the second biggest in the world, was held concurrently with the International ICT (Information and communications technology) Expo from 13th to 16th April. The two events focused on the electronics and ICT industries and gathered together over 3,500 booths. One of the brightest attractions was the fair’s Hall of Fame which exhibited 214 major manufacturers.  The Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Spring Edition) and International ICT Expo concluded with a record-breaking number of 53,000 buyers.
